Mental Health Clinician
Brittany is of English, Irish and Scottish descent, who lives, works, and plays on the unceded, traditional and ancestral territories of the Coast Salish Peoples. Brittany’s mental health and wellness knowledge is rooted from her experiences working with high risk youth and adults in correctional and educational institutions. She is experienced utilizing Trauma-Informed Practice, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and prioritizes strength-based approaches throughout her clinical practices.
Throughout Brittany’s professional and educational career, she has always been passionate about gender and sexuality issues. Brittany openly self-identifies as a Queer woman and is dedicated towards advocating for equity and inclusivity of the 2SLGBTQ+ community within her personal and professional platforms. Brittany continues to encourage representation of the 2SLGBTQ+ community, meanwhile celebrate the diversity, fluid expression and experiences of the individuals among it.
