February 22, 2023 – Pink Shirt Day: Anti-bullying in schools, workplaces, homes and online. Pink Shirt Day aims to raise awareness and funds for programs to foster healthy self-esteem.

March 31, 2023 – International Transgender Day of Visibility: Dedicated to celebrating transgender people, their contributions to society and raising awareness of discrimination faced by transgender people worldwide.

April 12, 2023 – International Day of Pink: The International Day against Bullying, Discrimination, Homophobia, Transphobia, and Transmisogyny across the world.

April 14, 2023 – Day of Silence: Every year, hundreds of thousands of students across the world take a vow of silence on a Friday in April to raise awareness about the silencing effect of anti-LGBT bullying, harassment and discrimination.

April 26, 2023 – Lesbian Visibility Day: This day showcases women-loving-women, providing a platform for lesbian role models to speak out on the issues facing female-identified sexual minorities.

May 7, 2023 – International Family Equality Day: A day to celebrate supportive and diverse families.

May 17, 2023 – International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia: The day that aims to draw the attention of policymakers, opinion leaders, social movements, the public and the media to the violence and discrimination experienced by LGBTI people internationally.

May 22, 2023 – Harvey Milk Day: In memory of Harvey Milk, a gay activist and politician in California, assassinated in 1978.

May 24, 2023 – Pansexual and Panromantic Awareness and Visibility Day: Promotes visibility and awareness of pansexual and panromantic identities.

June – 2SLGBTQ+ Pride Month: An annual month-long celebration in honor of the Stonewall Riots, though pride events occur throughout the year.

June 21, 2023 – National Indigenous Peoples Day: Held to celebrate the unique heritage, diverse cultures, and outstanding achievements of the nation’s Indigenous Peoples.

June 28 – Stonewall Riots Anniversary of 1969.

July 14, 2023 – International Non-Binary People’s Day: Celebration and acknowledgement towards Non-binary and genderqueer individuals.

September 17 – 24, 2023 – Bisexuality Awareness Week:
 A week to celebrate bisexual visibility.

September 23, 2023 – Celebrate Bisexuality Day: Celebrates bisexual pride.

October 11, 2022/23 – National Coming Out Day: A day to celebrate coming out as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer (LGBTQ) or as an ally.

October 20, 2022/October 19, 2023 – Spirit Day (Anti-Bullying): Spirit Day was first established in 2010 by Canadian teenager Brittany McMillan. It was created in response to a series of bullying related suicides of LGBT2Q+ students in 2010. On this day, supporters wear purple as a way to visibly show solidarity with LGBTQ youth and to honour LGBT2Q+ victims of suicide.

October 29, 2022/October 18, 2023 – International Pronouns Day: International Pronouns Day began in 2018 and seeks to make asking, sharing, and respecting personal pronouns commonplace. Referring to people by the pronouns they determine for themselves is basic to human dignity.

October 25 – 31, 2022/October 23 - 29, 2023 – Asexual Awareness Week: Asexual Awareness Week is an international campaign that seeks to educate about asexual, aromantic, demisexual, and grey-asexual experiences and to create materials that are accessible to our community and our allies around the world.

October 26, 2022/23 – Intersex Awareness Day: Celebrated in October to commemorate the first intersex protest, which took place in Boston, MA outside the annual American Academy of Pediatrics conference in 1996. The celebration is utilized as a way to raise awareness and a day of action to end shame, secrecy and unwanted genital cosmetic surgeries on intersex children.

November 6, 2022/November 5, 2023 – Trans Parent Day: This day was first established in 2009 and is a day to celebrate and honour transgender parents instead of the traditional Mother’s or Father’s Day. Today the day also includes parents who have transgender children. This day typically involves small celebrations and gift-giving to one’s parent or caregiver.

November 8, 2022/23 – Intersex Solidarity Day: Also known as Intersex Day of Remembrance and marks the birthday of Herculine Barbin, a now-famous French intersex person.

November 20, 2022/23 – International Transgender Day of Remembrance: The Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDOR) was set aside to memorialize those who have been lost due to anti-transgender hatred or prejudice. The first candlelight vigil occurred in 1999. TDOR provides us all an opportunity to publicly mourn and honor the trans lives lost in our community over the past year, in addition to helping raise awareness about hate crimes that the trans community experience daily.

December 1, 2022/23 – World AIDS Day: Is an opportunity for people worldwide to unite in the fight against HIV, show their support for people living with HIV, and to commemorate those who have died. World AIDS Day was the first ever global health day, held for the first time in 1988.

December 8, 2022/23 – Pansexual Pride Day: Pansexual Pride Day is the date dedicated to celebrating pansexuality. This date is different from Pansexual Visibility day on May 24th. Each year, December 8 marks Pansexual Pride Day.

December 10, 2022/23 – Human Rights Day: Commemorates the day in 1948 the United Nations General Assembly adopted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
